“ My friend and I went for dinner and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The zucchini soup was to die for! We didn’t know about ordering the peka in advance so ordered off the menu and it was wonderful. The service and atmosphere are top notch. We wished we found it earlier so we could go back again before we left Korcula. Thanks for an unbelievably great meal! ”

“ Konoba Maha is a hidden gem on the island of Korcula. Situated in a rural and remote area, you’re welcomed by a small Konoba surrounded by nature. For those booking, I would highly recommend pre ordering the chicken peka which is a traditional dish that takes 4+ hours to prepare in a historic style. The service, and the white wine that was recommended to us, was also excellent. A great culinary experience! ”
“ One of the best gastro experiences I’ve ever had, phenomenal flavors and wonderful people working there. The restaurant’s location is phenomenal, tucked away in a peaceful spot, beautifully decorated, romantic, and very private, which makes the whole experience even more special. Before the starter, we were treated to homemade focaccia with toasted Paški cheese, very tasty, perfectly balanced flavors. The starter was juicy, crispy soparnik with Paški cheese, the first time I tried such a combination, it simply melted in my mouth. The main course, veal “peka,” was breathtaking, top-quality cuts of meat, perfectly cooked, with potatoes and meat that were nothing short of perfection. We also had an excellent salad made with homegrown vegetables, fried pears, and a fig aceto – fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. To finish, a homemade Korčula cake made up of three small desserts, sweet, delicious, and with just the right balance. The local Pošip wine was excellent. Our waiter Veljko and the host/manager Jakša were very polite, attentive, and always there whenever we needed something. All in all, a wonderful evening with truly delicious food and amazing staff ”
